Service Description

The tour will meet at the Hunter Check Station on the East Hunt of Jocelyn Nungaray NWR. Participants can expect a round trip walk of about 2 miles to the site and back. There is a restroom on site, but there is no water available. Bring water and insect repellant. Reservations are for one carload, up to 5 persons in the car. A link to Google Maps will be provided in your confirmation email for the meet up location. There is no charge for the tour but donations to the Friends of Anahuac are requested. We will add additional dates after a successful tour as long as the bird is being seen.
